Given the prompt “Dystopia,” this sound piece was made by distorting sounds associated with joy and good memories. Harsh noise was made using the sound of a trip to Niagara Falls, a siren with sounds of birds chirping in the backyard, and screams from a party cheering as someone chugs a drink. The most dystopian sound is silence, and balancing that with scattered sound creates a haunting effect.
