Cheburashka is a little monkey cartoon character who was a popular icon in the USSR and is now an icon in former soviet states. The creature whose gender remains unknown to this day, is likened to a “Soviet Mickey mouse.” This plush made with 100% secondhand and salvaged material, including stuffing from a personal pillow, was made as an ode to the nostalgic Cheburashka.
